Well, I too think it's time to discuss this issue
again...

However I am not sure why not going public now,
these are my reasons:

o) The wider the wrapper project is distributed,
the lesser it is vulnerable, i.e. it could
be stopped by DDDFX....

o) Private distribution via email should free
Bjorn from any troubles...

o) My experiences with Croc: this is one of the
rare games that run really well with the
wrapper, and where the wrapper is really
a profit for everyone who has a Rendition
card and the game. And the wrapper was
finished soon enough for this game...
However, by keeping the project private,
not many people have profited from this work..
Croc is now not very hot anymore, and it's
difficult to buy this game now!

I think working on the wrapper without
making it public does not make much sense
in the long run (yes I love those emails
which say: "hey, great, now I can play xxxx,
thank you!" - they give me the impression
that the work does make sense! And they
keep me working on the project....)
IMHO: The main aim of this project is not to
show DDDFX off (would be very difficult now :(
but to help rendition owners to play games
they always have wanted to play!

o) DDDFX would make themselves ridiculous when
complaining about the wrapper now! With the
VoodooII(tm) they don't have to fear
Rendition anymore (I think they are more
interested in Matrox, Intel and NEC?, now)
With VoodooI cards for $100, the work on the
wrapper does actually not make much sense
anymore (again IMHO)...
